I have finally reached and I feel just like I did every other birthday-one year more intelligent and wise. I don't really have any interest in partying or acting like a horses ass just because I moved up another level in the eyes of a fucked society, but I will acknowledge my chronological age increasing by another mathematical figure.
One positive is that I can write about certain issues that would have gone up as a red flag before today. Why people are disturbed by a clearly intelligent, yet argumentative minor writing about pedophilia, incest, rape and disturbing fetishes is beyond me. In fact, I have no idea why our culture prides itself on being so ignorant of all that transpires in the world. Does is it bring people security to shut the door on things that they just don't like to think about?
Have we still yet to advance beyond the imposed instinct to shut our eyes and ears when we come across something we don't like?
